Welcome to Theobald Marketing!
My name is Matt Theobald and here is more about me:
I grew up on a farm in North Central Iowa, where I learned a strong work ethic from my father. I didn’t always understand why I had to work so hard when some of my peers did not, but I am very appreciative for that now. As a teenager I enjoyed doing projects that I could design and build on my own so I decided to go to Iowa State and major in engineering. I did not know what the day-to-day work or the lifestyle of an engineer consisted of but I decided to pursue it anyway. It sounded better than any other option that I was aware of at that time. When I began my internship, I soon realized that I wanted more out of life.
Around the time of my internship, I was very blessed and fortunate to meet one of my good friends, Rory. He was a triple business major at ISU and he introduced me to Brad, who is a successful business owner out of Omaha, NE. He was the first person that I ever met who was financially independent. He was in complete control of his time and his finances. Even though I knew nothing about business at the time, Brad inspired me to pursue a business of my own. I liked what business ownership could provide for my future and I also had college to pay for. He agreed to mentor me and open up my eyes to ways to create ongoing income, which I was not familiar with at the time. I began developing an asset while I was going to college and I was able to continue to build it as I began work as an engineer in 2008. Six months later I was laid off during an economic collapse and I was thankful that I didn't rely on one source of income.
Over the last 15 years I have had the opportunity to coach and mentor several individuals and it has become a passion of mine. After getting married in 2012, my wife, Claire became my #1 business partner! Today we are building a family legacy and TIME with our children is what we value most. Pictured above is Claire and I and our four sons - Carter, Bowen, Rylan, and Jace. We currently live in West Des Moines, Iowa and we love chasing our dreams together as a family!
